After a most successful start with SaddleLease in February, it is now time to expand. Creator Rob van Boxtel: “With the launch of SaddleLease we immediately got a lot of positive reactions and inquiries. Because we focus our store mainly on the jumping sport we started with jumping saddles. But soon after we got the question if we also leased dressage saddles. So from now on it’s also possible to lease a dressage saddle at SaddleLease.”
Training
“We chose the X-Optimax K by Prestige Italia”, says Rob. We have been working with these saddles for some time now and we love the way the saddle fits the horses. In addition we get great feedback from dressageriders. Recently we refreshed our knowledge with the Dutch team of Prestige Italia. They have completely updated us on the latest technologies, fit and all possibilities for customisation. I think it’s important for a saddlefitter to stay up to date to advise the riders in the best way possible. We definitely want to expand our range of dressage saddle in the future. There is already a big demand.
X-Optimax K
Like all Prestige saddles, the X-Optimax is also produced with the best materials. You can choose between printed leather for extra durability or double calfskin for extra comfort. The leather is available in black and dark brown (tobacco). The tree consists of synthetic fibres and has a lifetime warranty.
Comfort
The X-Optimax, available in 16”, 17” and 18”, has an extra comfortable deep seat which measures 27 centimeters at its widest point. The X-technology provides an even deeper and softer seat, without losing the close-contact feel. Because of the monoflap the saddle has a very modern look and you are even closer to your horse.
Of course these flaps can also be made to measure, taking into account the rider’s physique and riding style. They are available in sizes XS up to XXL. The blocks are big and anatomically shaped to ensure freedom of the knees.
The tree is available in sizes 29 up to 37, 33 being the standard size. With the tree being made of synthetic fibers, it is light but strong and can be adjusted without losing its strength. The panels under the saddle are anatomically shaped and ensure more freedom of the trapezius muscles. Wool panels adapt to the horses back very well but need yearly checkups and/or refills. This also means the panels can be changed relatively easy when the horse develops itself.
